Chapter 3

In the third chapter of the novel the reader gets to know a lot about Leicester, Evington Road where Manny lives, and Manny meets Lisa for the first time. Manny can not imagine to live somewhere else. He was born in England and feels english. He describes Leicester and Evington Road in a very detailed way. He can not imagine to went to India, because he does not know any places where he can go. Now the summer holidays start, and they meet down on Evington Road by St. Philips Curch before they are going on holiday or do something else. This is a kind of tradition. Manny meets Lisa for the first time when he and Ady go into a couple of record stores. He thinks, that she is very kind. Manny is so impressed, that he thinks about to have a girlfriend as well. Perhaps it could be Lisa.
